Time is Sacred at All Saints
The 2026–2027 year runs from Wednesday, September 2 to Thursday, June 17. That is 177 instructional days, in three trimesters.
The great feasts fall on school days, and we keep them. The Divine Liturgy is served and the students are there. The year opens with the Blessing of the Waters on the first day of school. After that come the Nativity of the Theotokos, the Elevation of the Holy Cross, Theophany, the Three Hierarchs on Greek Letters Day, the Presentation, the Annunciation, and the Ascension.
Great Lent begins on Clean Monday, with students in session.
Students are in session through Holy Week too, on the schedule the Church appoints, with an early dismissal midweek. On Great and Holy Friday the school day moves to the parish. Students attend the Royal Hours, spend the afternoon writing and rehearsing hymns, and chant the Lamentations that evening. School resumes after Pascha. Bright Monday is a No School Day.

Spiritual Disciplines
Prayer every day, and three pilgrimages a year.
Traveling Towards Holiness
| Dates | Pilgrimage |
|---|---|
| Oct 30 – Nov 1, 2026 | Holy Theotokos of the Lifegiving Spring Monastery, Dunlap, California |
| Nov 10, 2026 | St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine, Covina, California |
| Jan 15 – 18, 2027 | St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Monastery, Florence, Arizona, over the feast of St. Anthony the Great |
Christians have always walked to the places where heaven touched earth.
Students prepare for each journey in Theology class, keep the services at the monastery, and spend time learning from monastics.
Dates follow the school calendar each year. Ask for this year's pilgrimage dates when you write to us.
Prayer Unceasing

Morning Chapel opens with silence, the Trisagion, the Epistle and Gospel readings, the saints of the day, a homily, and the Third Hour. The Sixth Hour is prayed at midday before lunch. The day closes with the Ninth Hour and a gratitude journal.
Lead by Serving
The Lord taught leadership with a towel and a basin.
Amid conflicting answers and messages, the school helps young people learn to answer three questions: Who am I? Who is God? Who is my neighbor? The goal is to train up leaders for Christ, to light up the world.
Health and Wellness
Within the Orthodox Christian understanding, body and soul are formed together. Eight areas are taught across a student’s career at All Saints.
The eight areas
1 · Body Image
What the Church teaches about the body as God’s creation, and what students are told about it elsewhere.
2 · Healthy Nutrition
Eating well, and what the Church’s fasts teach about appetite. Older students are welcome to keep the Church’s fasting rhythms in a context where their community understands and shares the rhythms.
3 · Emotional Regulation
Naming, understanding, and governing the passions. The vocabulary comes from the ascetical tradition and from current psychology, and students learn both.
4 · Substance Abuse Prevention
What the substances are and who they are marketed to, taught before most students encounter them.
5 · Virtuous Relationships
Agape or ἀγάπη (divine love), Storge or στοργή (the love of family), Philia or φιλία (the love of friends), and Eros or ἔρως (romantic love) are ordered properly and understood as instruments of sanctification.
6 · Puberty & Reproduction
Taught truthfully, reverently, within the Church’s understanding of Life: in conjunction with both natural science and Biblical studies.
7 · Technology & Social Media
Addiction prevention and the disciplines of attention. Students study how attention is bought and sold, and practice going without.
8 · Possessions & Financial Literacy
A rightly ordered relationship to money and material things: stewardship, generosity, and the practical skills of budgeting, saving, and giving.
These eight areas are the All Saints Wellness Program. They run as micro-units, conversations, and interventions placed through the year, taught inside Orthodox Theology.
The Studio
Radio St. Paisios is the school’s public media studio, developed with Greek Fire Studios in San Juan Capistrano.
Students research, write, interview, narrate, and record, and learn to take media apart as they make it. Radio St. Paisios →
