Admissions are rolling: each grade from 4 through 9 opens as its founding cohort fills, so the right time to begin is when your family is ready.

Students with divergent learning needs
Small classes at a 1:3 student-faculty ratio, a weekly Learning Lab led by a master tutor, and nationally normed STAR and MAP assessment mean that support at All Saints is structural, not an afterthought — a teacher notices immediately when a child needs something more, and the data confirms it while adjustment still matters. If your child learns differently, say so in your inquiry: the conversation about what they need, and whether we can truly provide it, is exactly what our admissions process is for.

Frequently asked questions
Which grades can apply for 2027–28?
2027–28 is our full launch as an Orthodox middle and high school, enrolling students from 4th grade up to 9th grade. The school then grows one grade each year: grades 3–10 in 2028–29, and onward until our first seniors graduate with the Class of 2031. (This school year, 2026–27, is our soft launch with grades 5 and 6.)
Is this a full-time school?
Yes. All Saints is a five-day private school — on campus every school day, not a hybrid or co-op model.
Do we have to be Orthodox?
The life of the school is fully Orthodox: the day begins in prayer, the calendar follows the Church's, and Scripture runs through the week. Any family who wants that formation for their child is welcome to inquire, and the conversation about fit is exactly what our admissions process is for.
Is All Saints a "real" school?
Yes. All Saints is an independent private school operating under California's private-school requirements, organized as a California nonprofit corporation, with its federal 501(c)(3) application pending. Accreditation is a multi-year process that can only begin once a school is operating; see the accreditation question below.
Will All Saints be accredited?
All Saints is pursuing WASC accreditation candidacy within the next two years. In the meantime, student progress is tracked with STAR and MAP testing throughout the year — both nationally normed — so instruction is adjusted on real data, and we publish what accreditors themselves look for: a documented curriculum, named faculty, and, from summer 2027, an annual report. What if we're new to Orthodoxy?
Orthodox Christianity is the ancient Christian Church — the Church of the apostles, the councils, and the Fathers, worshiping in an unbroken tradition roughly two thousand years old. Concretely, for your child's school day: it begins with prayer in the church and pauses for the Hours; the calendar follows the Church's feasts and fasts; theology is a daily academic subject taught as rigorously as mathematics; and the arts your child practices are iconography and Byzantine chant. You do not need to be Orthodox to inquire — you do need to want this formation for your child, because it is the whole school, not an elective.
How big are classes?
A few families per grade, by design. Small enough that a teacher hears every student read, reason, and argue every day, and notices the moment a child needs something more.
What about socialization at a small school?
A fair question, asked of every small school. Our answer: students here live in a mixed-age community inside a full parish, with adults and children of every generation, rather than in a single grade-level cohort. Friendships form up and down the years. Come visit and watch it work.
What is the Theanthropology Core?
Theanthropology is the study of how God relates to humans. The Core is the four disciplines that teach it most directly — Theology, History, Literature, and the sacred arts — aligned trimester by trimester so each tells the same chapter of the same story. The full explanation is here.
What do you mean by "theosis"?
Theosis (θέωσις) means becoming like God — from θεός, "God," and the suffix -σις, "the process of becoming." Within the Orthodox Tradition it is understood as the entire goal of human existence, and it is the goal every course at All Saints serves.
Will there be AP courses?
Yes. High school builds on the Core with Advanced Placement coursework in the humanities, mathematics, and the sciences. The whole program is college-preparatory.
